NordVPN passes nearly everything we look at with flying colours, they are based in Panama well outside of the 5/9/14 Eyes remit, they have a strict no-logs policy which they are third party audited on by PwC Switzerland for peace of mind, because as we know companies can not always be taken at face value for this! However they have one chink in their formidable armour, alarm bells were raised some time ago when they admitted that one of their servers had been attacked and breached by an unknown party. The server was one they rented out in Finland which had a vulnerability left in it by the data company they were renting off, which asked the question are they doing enough to check the servers they are renting before using them for their own systems. This aside it would have taken a very sophisticated attack to gain any information on the traffic passing through it.
